Commission Disclosure

Players Cars Leasing – FCA & Commission Disclosure

Financial Conduct Authority

The Financial Conduct Authority requires intermediaries to disclose to customers that a commission will be payable by the owner or creditor to the intermediary, and, if the customer asks, the amount of that commission. The FCA defines “commission” as any financial consideration.

When you order a vehicle, you will enter into a lease agreement with one of our partner finance providers or lenders. Our arrangement fee is for our services and not for arranging the finance agreement.

The commission we receive from the finance provider or lender is pre-set but can vary and will impact the amount payable by you.

Where you are looking to finance your vehicle purchase, or hire your vehicle, we have commercial arrangements with a panel of lenders that we can introduce you to. In doing this, we are legally acting as a “credit broker.”

We only offer products from this carefully selected panel of finance providers. Lenders we work with pay us commission. This commission will be fixed or variable and will impact the monthly amount you will pay.

We will disclose the commission we receive from the finance company to you prior to the order of the vehicle. This will be before we propose you to the finance provider. Should the original quote change in any way (such as term or mileage allowance), a new quote and commission disclosure document will be provided. We will ask you to sign each commission disclosure to confirm your informed consent to us receiving this remuneration.

We will always work to secure the right finance arrangement for you; however, you should not assume we are providing advice or making recommendations.
