The BMW iX1 is the most compact SUV in BMW’s all-electric range. It’s the electric version of the X1, built on the same platform with familiar BMWquality. Whether you're choosing a BMW iX1 business lease or a personal lease, this model delivers practicality and design with a premium finish. It’s ideal for drivers who want electric power without going up to the larger, more expensive SUVs in the BMW range.
BMW iX1 lease offers are available in three well-equipped trim levels—Sport, xLine, and M Sport.
The iX1 is available in two electric versions. First is the eDrive20 which uses a single motor powering the front wheels, delivering 204bhp and a range of up to 293 miles (WLTP). It’s smooth, quiet and efficient – ideal for urban driving and regular commutes. If you need a little more punch, the xDrive30 adds a second motor and all-wheel drive. With 313bhp and a 0–62mph time of just 5.6 seconds, it offers more performance without losing the benefits of electric driving.
Both models use a 64.8kWh battery and support DC fast charging at up to 130kW, meaning you can top up from 10 to 80% in around 29 minutes. This makes longer trips manageable and helps keep downtime to a minimum.
The iX1 features slim, angular LED headlights and a wide, upright grille with subtle blue accents. The clean lines down the side and sculpted rear end help the iX1 look sporty without going over the top, and the short overhangs give it a well-balanced shape on the road.
Trim levels give you a choice of looks too. The xLine trim focuses on comfort and class, with satin chrome details and 18-inch alloy wheels. The M Sport model brings a more dynamic appearance, adding larger 19-inch wheels, a sportier bumper design, and a slightly firmer drive.
Inside the iX1, you’re greeted by BMW’s Curved Display which combines a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel with a 10.7-inch infotainment screen. It runs BMW’s latest iDrive 8 system, which is easy to use and quick to respond. Voice control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are built-in as standard.
There’s good space in both the front and back, with plenty of headroom and legroom for adults. Boot space is generous too, making the iX1 just as suitable for family life as it is for business use. Features like heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and ambient lighting come as standard across the range.
